Ancient Angkor columns convey strength, lasting a thousand years. Here a simple vertical line is created by horizontal dots. An assembly of 1619 lotus impressions assemble to create this single column of fortitude. When I envisage a specific theme, I often like to see other concepts in the same work. For example, here I am also seeing bamboo, or perhaps a lotus stalk.
